Medical Board Rules

SECTION 2: CONSTRUCTION OF 32 M.R.S.A. SEC. 3271(3)

A. With regard to 32 M.R.S.A. Sec. 3271 (3), "uniform examination of the Federation of State Medical Boards" shall mean FLEX examinations administered after December 1, 1985. The passing score required to be achieved on each component of the FLEX shall be 75%.

B. With regard to 32 M.R.S.A. Sec. 3271(3), "such examinations designed by the board as the qualifying examination or examinations for licensure, shall mean the following:

Back to 2. The Board may, in its discretion, act as its own accrediting body regarding any residency program. The Board may create a list of and retain consultants by specialty to review and opine on accrediting data.
